This dryer is amazingly light - you could lift it with one finger. If you wanted to hang it up to keep it out of the way when not in use you could hang it from a picture tack. The aluminium tubes are sturdy though. The wings are high enough to keep shirts etc. on hangers from brushing the floor. When fully opened it's big enough to drape duvet covers over too. When loaded it is a bit top heavy due to the narrow feet and super light construction, which meant it blew over when outside. I still think it's great though.

I bought this airer a week ago and have found that my washing dries a lot quicker. I have a 3 tier airer but find the clothes on the inside take up to 3 days to dry. But with this type the washing dries in a day with the clothes a lot less creased. Also there is no bending over. It is also very light and fits when collapsed under the sofa. A marvellous product. I know it costs a lot more money than a 3 tier airer but well worth the extra cost.
