Lakeland Home Window Mop Plus

I find cleaning the inside of windows exhausting, the window cleaner does the outside which then makes the inside look even dirtier. I visited Lakeland this week and bought this tool. I tried it this morning on my very high windows. The first problem was the lack of any real instructions, so I did what seemed sensible and my windows are cleaner, but I had to find another squeegee as the one on the "mop" did not do a very good job due to its hardness. Altogether I was not as pleased as I hoped, easier than using a spray and duster but rather messy. Rather disappointed.

A very good idea, but doesnt work like I expected. Pole is flimsy and adjustable bit doesnt tighten up. Blade is poor quality and leaves streaks on windows. Can just about use it on conservatory windows that I can reach if I go round with a microfibre to get rid of streaks afterwards but no use at all for high up windows as pole is too flimsy to get any pressure at all to clean.

Agree with previous review - the squeegee is totally useless. In addition, when extended (not even to full height) the pole is too light and flimsy to give any pressure to adequately clean the window. Due to height I have to clean reaching upwards rather than down.

Like a previous reviewer, window cleaning is not my favourite occupation. To ease the pain of my forthcoming task I bought this product which I hoped would help make light of the work. I was so wrong! The angle of the mop head can be adjusted and supposedly fixed into the required position - this was not so. After a couple of wipes of the window the mop head, which appeared to have a mind of it's own would swing freely at the end of the pole. The squeegee was pretty useless too - it didn't squash against the window and as a previous reviewer said the rubber is too hard. Very dissatisfied!

Just bought this at new store near me, I wish I'd read reviews first! I've just used it and it was hopeless, head kept adjusting on its own when I applied pressure on window, handle was loose so kept coming undone. Very disappointing, I'm sure better options available. Don't be lured by promotional offer...like me!
