"JORDANA" star star star star star_border I LOVE THIS PRODUCT.GOOD VALUE FOR MONEY. I WOULD LOVE IT EVEN MORE, IF I COULD BUY A REPLACEMENT OF FABRIC MOP HEAD. (THEREFORE ONLY FOUR STARS). support_agent A note from the team Thanks for taking the time to write your review. I'm pleased to say that the Lakeland antibacterial flat mop refill (ref 23301) will fit this mop.
"A few niggles whilst using it but otherwise great!" star star star star_border star_border This is a lovely big mop so great at getting floors clean. I had a couple of issues though: Firstly, after a while the swivel action causes the handle to come down if you're tall and have it at it's longest length. Secondly, it has to be wrung out by hand as there's no bucket squeezer that you can rinse the mop out with as you would with a regular mop. I use rubber gloves and a bucket and remove the mop cover and then rinse by hand which is a bit tiresome. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. Sorry for the problems. The locking mechanism needs to be a little tighter to ensure it doesn't come loose when in use. Also the Dust'n Mop is not a traditional mop, which is why it doesn't have a head small enough to be wrung in a bucket.
"A handle problem" star star star star_border star_border While the mop works very well, both wet and dry, the adjustable handle will not stay put and collapses as you are using it. It is very reasonably priced, maybe too reasonably priced. A little bit more thought should have been put into its design. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry you've experienced this problem. We suggest, turn the handle to lock it in to place tightly however in use, try using it straight and just allowing the mop head to pivot it. If you use both hands and turn the handle it may become unlocked. I hope this information helps
"Poor handle design spoils this mop" star star star star_border star_border I bought this mop as a replacement for the triangular microfibre mop but am disappointed. Tthe handle keeps working loose and collapsing no matter how tightly you screw it into place. Also the mop head used for wet cleaning doesn't glide very well so that makes it worse. Have tried mopping in a straight line as Lakeland suggest and using the mop one-handed to avoid twisting but that doesn't help much either. Will need to take this one back too. Wish you could have a better look at them in-store - some unpackaged display items to 'play with' would certainly help. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry for the disappointment. Store staff will be pleased to help with any item to explain how it should be used to work correctly. However, we'll be in touch shortly to help.
"Don't waste your money" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I would say definitely do NOT buy this mop. As other readers have already said the handle collapses all of the time which is extremely annoying and makes cleaning the floor a really frustrating job. No matter how tight one twists the handle (and I am sure it will break through doing this) it still comes undone. The suggestion to only mop in straight lines is also impossible since there are normally obstacles in the way and surely the swivel action of the head is for this purpose. Very poorly designed and should not be for sale. I have always found other products in this store to be good. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. We're sorry that the handle locking mechanism isn't working properly and are sure the store staff will be able to help when you return the mop.
