Oven Mate have been helping to keep our ovens clean and sparkling for years now, and we’re delighted that they’ve come up with a formula for sprucing up microwaves too! Cleaning, disinfecting and deodorising, these sponges couldn’t be easier to use – just remove them from their pouch, pop in the microwave and switch on.
Pre-impregnated with anti-bacterial agents, it will foam and steam to get the cleaning process going, and once cool can be used to sponge down any bubbles remaining. (Cleaning time depends on the power of your microwave.)

Tried these as on offer. Just about does its job but no more than any other less expensive cleaner. Little foam generated. Don't feel they are worth the money (even on offer) and wont be buying more.

I was very disappointed with this product. It just didn't do the job. It only created a small amount of foam and virtualy no steam although my microwave is one of the more powerful versions. Sorry but could not recommend them. Caroline
I tried these sponges and they did absolutely nothing. They did not foam and did not make cleaning my microwave oven any easier to clean. They were a complete waste of money

A very expensive price for a disappointing product. Hardly any foam and didn't do anything a spray with another proprietary cleaner doesn't do better. Def. shan't buy this again or recommend it.
Thanks for the review. While the sponge is heating it will steam the inside of the microwave, deodorising and disinfecting it with the antibacterial agents. You can then give the sponge a squeeze to release more foam for cleaning. I'll be in touch to put things right for you.
I am surprised as this product did not foam at all and carried out instructions to the letter. I admit got an old style but very good microwave so if needed longer or different instructions would have been good to advise.
