Anyone with a dog or cat at home knows how difficult it can be to get rid of all the hairs from carpets and upholstery, so the clever people at Bissell have come up with a cyclonic vacuum that we think will become indispensible in houses with four-legged inhabitants.

A row of rotating bristles alongside an optional pet hair lifter bar brushes dirt up as you push the vac forwards, then sucks them up as you pull it back to ensure every last hair and speck of dust is picked up.
Rubber-ended contour tool, which bends and flexes to really get into nooks, crannies and that bit down the back of the sofa
Turbo brush with rubber ‘fingers’ which attracts and picks up pet hair.

"Pet Hair Eraser"

The machine was purchased end of October. Brilliant the first two times I used it. Didn't pick up the next time and I realised that it had jammed all the hair next to the filter & I had to pick it all out. Now it just blows the hair out behind it. As far as I am concerned, it is a very expensive piece of rubbish that has now been consigned to the garage. The only reason I haven't returned it is because I can't find the reciept. A total waste of money. I am forced to give the product 1 star as you don't have a rubbish button!

"Picks up pet hair"

This really does pick up pet hair! Its fairly heavy so not suitable for a weakling to carry upstairs however its very powerful so its a trade-off sometimes isn't it. Surprised to see this in the sale (and slightly gutted because I paid full price!) There are things I would change about it if I could (I would move the on/off switch but thats just a little niggle) but in terms of power and picking up pet hair I dont think it can be beaten - my carpets have never looked so good - it really lifts the pile.
