Lakeland Over-Bath Airer

I bought one of these airers to replace a really old one which was falling to bits, as this is the first over bath airer I have seen in years. I love it and it gets used nearly every day. I have found the rungs to be sturdy enough and they are nice and smooth, though they are quite close together, which is fine for underwear and just means you can only use every other rung for larger items. The airer fits neatly over the bath and locks into place well. I was so pleased with it I bought another and they fit side by side over the bath if I have a lot of washing to dry.

This item was of poor quality. The rails were rough and unfinished, it felt flimsy and was unstable. An unpleasant surprise- we expect better from Lakeland.

Its not very sturdy and I could not get it to stay upright over the bath as it kept falling over. It also cannot handle anything heavy so trying to dry your jeans on it is not advisable.

Bought to replace my rather tatty over-bath airer. It's good quality and sturdy but I was disappointed to find it goes width-wise over the bath rather than length-wise as my old one does. My bath is against the wall and loading the "wall" side is a really awkward stretch for me. The rungs are quite close together so because of the sharp angle the damp it stands at, items all rest against each other and take ages to dry. If this went lengthwise it would be really useful and a good buy but as it stands only good if you just have a few socks to dry. I'm back to using my old airer
