Bissell® Steam Mop

I am delighted with this product - for five years I have been looking for an easy to use method of cleaning my 22ft x 16 ft kitchen stone floor. Traditional mops disintegrated due to the hard surface and the friction required to clean stubborn marks so I resorted to hands and knees with a cloth, spray and bucket - a laborious and time consuming task. The steam mop is a revelation, quick, easy to use and the mop pad/cover is easily rinsed and then laundered in the washing machine.

fantastic mop. i use it on stone floors and laminate.gives great streak free shine. i have really put this mop through it's paces in a busy house hold with 4 dogs, 4 children and husband who never takes his boot's off. The only thing is the lead is not long enough.I am going to have to buy more pads as am finding 2 is not enough as you have to wash them each time you use it, well in this house I do. spare pads are quite expensive. wish there were more fragrances.

Despite the poor reviews here I bought one of these and I'm very glad that I did. It cleans my tiled floors beautifully and leaves the house smelling fresh and sanitized (no mean feat as it has three children and two labradors to contend with and we live in the constantly muddy countryside!). I'm more than happy with it - didn't have the dripping or puddling issues of the other two reviewers. Only question I have is where can I get replacement pads as I have about 1200sqft of tiled floor to clean twice a week.

Over all I am very pleased with this mop. Cleans well leaving the floor almost dry. The mop head washes well in the washing machine.One small design fault, the water tank is not secured very well and while in use is easily knocked off.

I bought this as I have a lot of tiled and wood floors. It cleans well but takes a long time to dry and it leaks badly. Not great value considering the faults. I will be returning it and revert back to my trusty mop!
