Absolutely marvellous gloves, high up on writst preventing scratches from plants but such a shame that the stripes faded immediately on use on the fingers!
Great gloves but very slippery when using for washing up. Hope you're able to put "grip" surface on finger ends as I love the product and am unhappy that it is not available at the moment.

I chose these gloves as I have been looking for some decorative cleaning gloves. They look attractive with the black/white lining folded down as in the picture but they are far too short for washing jobs when worn like this - they are a bit on the short side even without! They are very comfortable to wear but they are just SO slippery when wet!! It's really difficult to grip anything and it's actually quite hard to get them off as one wet gloves can't grip the other to remove it. They may well be ideal for dry cleaning jobs , but no use for the purpose I intended! Sorry Lakeland

I bought these gloves mainly for washing up, as I was getting through marigolds too quickly and wanted something more durable and comfy. They really are very comfortable, but I'm gutted that they are the slipperiest things ever! I've dropped loads of cups and glasses in the 3 times I've used them to wash up, and I think I'm going to have to use them for other stuff round the house. Really disappointed as I wanted to spice up a daily chore but can't put up with the slipperyness. Lakeland - please can you look into getting a more ridged finish to these so we can wash up in comfort?! Thanks.

When I saw these on the website I thought they were exactly what I wanted, with the cotton lining which would protect my rings when washing up. Unfortunately, there were no reviews when I first saw them, which is a great pity since I've just used them for washing up. The first items to be washed were glasses. One slipped out of the glove and smashed into another, which broke in the bowl. A brandy goblet. I am not happy. I will use them for other work but please, don't buy these expecting to do the washing up.
