Lakeland Laundry Ball
Product number: 23139
Size isn’t everything, and that’s certainly the case with this power-packed little ball. Containing no harsh chemicals, it will gently but effectively wash fabrics, with no fading and no unsightly detergent residue. Incredibly economical, this pack is sufficient for up to 100 washes (based on a 1-hour cycle) and there’s no need for softener either. And it’s easy to top up – slip off the band, open the ball and the wash beads are contained within a little mesh bag inside so you can top them up as they gradually decrease in size over time.
For heavily soiled items, pre-treat with Wash-It Stain Remover Stick
Pack comprises laundry ball, 60g wash beads in mesh bag and 30g wash beads top-up pack.
7cm (2¾") Dia.

These washballs are well worth the money and save you alot as you don't need to buy soap powder or conditioners.
I must confess I bought this product ages ago (before it was reduced) and promptly put it in the cupboard under the sink and forgot all about it. It wasn't until my recent return from holiday, having no detergent in the house, and a suitcase full of laundry to do that I thought I would give it a go. I did a white wash including some very dirty sports socks and a shirt with chocolate ice-cream down the front and sat back and prepared to be unimpressed. I WAS AMAZED. Admittedly I did use a long wash cycle but everything came out absolutely gleaming. I won't go back to detergent now.
I bought this partly for economy but also as I am keen not to add too many chemicals to the water system. I am extremely pleased with it. It IS most certainly economical, having washed at least twice as many loads as a similarly priced box of powder, plus I no longer use fabric softener. The clothes and sheets are just as soft, partly I am sure because there is no residue left in them. If an item is extremely dirty, jeans from gardening say, I have pre-treated stains, or added extra 'oxy-powder', but that is not needed for the vast majority of washes. Buy one now!
I have often intended to buy the laundry balls, and eventually did, whilst selling at £3.50 ish 1/2 price. Fab my washing especially my sons white socks are coming out far better than any detergent i have ever used. I do miss the fabric conditioner so may add that. But i am pleased with all the washes i have done, and buying several before the price goes up...
I purchased these ball about 4 years ago, only just found them again in my store shed at Xmas time. Decided to use them for first time (they were still in original wrapper) absolutely wonderful. I must have saved pounds in wash products and just sorry I didnt find them sooner. I think they will be an absolute boon for mums with families who wash frequently they will save you a fortune, plus no need to use washing machine cleaner to clean the pipes etc. Well done Lakeland.
