Having read a couple of negative reviews on this product, I was a bit dubious about buying one. I am so glad I went ahead, I am really pleased with my new laundry basket! There are no rough edges inside it, it's light and easy to carry, holds plenty of laundry and it looks good. Well done, Lakeland, you have another satisfied customer!

I wanted somewhere to store plastic containers, this fits the bill perfectly. I have looked at cheaper ones, they are not as sturdy. Perhaps a bit overpriced but they live up to their description. Brilliant, I now have four, each one put to very good use for storage for towels, ironing, plastic containers and loo rolls.

Having just moved house with no where private to keep a laundry hamper I needed something that would sit on my landing, look good, keep my dirty washing hidden but would allow air to circulate and something that would be sturdy. This ticks all the boxes. I had no problems fixing the hinge and no sharp bits to contend with so I am confident my clothes will stay snag free. Has handles on the sides which is great for moving it around, I like to take a full basket down to the washing machine on wash days and it's nice and lightweight which makes it easier for me to do this.
We absolutely love this laundry basket. We live in a small bungalow and strange as it may sound didn't think we had room for one, but this fits in a small corner of the bathroom. It holds about 3 to 4 good washes too. We bought it whilst it was on offer but would have paid full price.
This is a great laundry basket for my utility room. It is nice and sturdy and looks attractive. Can fit loads of washing in it!
