Lakeland Underbed Vacuum Tote

Very well thought through with straps inside to hold the plastic bag in place. The clip used to seal the bag is definitely much better than the one used on the branded product I bought years ago. I have fitted a double duvet, a chunky double mattress protector, a thin mattress protector and two pillows in very easily. We use an blow-up bed and a sofabed for guests, therefore bedding needs to be stored away - now, instead of having all the duvets and pillows randomly under the bed (which has storage), each bed can now have its dedicated pack - when guests arrive, no need to look for this and that!

Much better than the previous big vacuum bags ...once I had realised that you have to snap off the cap before the vacuum nozzle can suck out the air. ( Different system from my previous bags where you turned the disc to open or close. Maybe this will be longer lasting; they only seemed to work for one use.) This holds an amazing amount of double bedding - everything needed for the spare bed - and it just compressed it to a fraction of the original enormous pile. The tote handles are helpful but I would have liked them front and back and not just at the ends. I have ordered two more.

This was myfourth attempt at finding a solution to storing bulky bedding and I am pleased to say that it was brilliant! I managed to reduce the bedding by four times it's size and it fits a neat rectange shape. I think the key may have been in the fact that my hoover hose end was too small to fit the vacume hole, so I had to remove the end and use a larger part of the hose. That didn't fit too well so it went down slowly and that was the key. It took about a minute, but I was able to gently ease the bedding into the desired tote box and it worked perfectly!

have several of the cube size and bought a couple of these for blankets etc - they are excellent highly recommended and I am back for more :)

The text said you could get in a king size duvet, two pillows and a kingsize throw, well I managed, a double duvet and king size duvet in one and a super king duvet and a double cellular blanket in my other one. Very happy with the quality of the seal and the ease of use. Could someone at Lakeland answer me why I have three 'black pen lids' in both of the vacuum tote. I am sure they must be there for a purpose. Very happy with purchase. Will no doubt by more.
