Designed to save your back and make pegging out washing easier, the legs of this laundry basket pop out at the touch of a button, raising up your washing and putting an end to stooping. The legs can then be quickly retracted for storage by simply pulling up the side grips. Everybody, young or old, male or female, will appreciate this ingenious basket.

But whether you suffer from back problems or not, all the bending down and reaching up that you need to do when you’re using a conventional laundry basket can take its toll, especially if you’re drying heavier items like sheets and duvet covers. Back-Saving Design

We’ve sold several versions of this brilliant laundry basket over the years, making subtle changes to improve its design. But the best feature remains the same... Simply push the buttons and the sturdy supporting legs appear, so the basket is always at the right height for hanging out or taking down clothes from the line, saving your back from all that stooping and bending. It also means that if there’s been a rain shower or there’s a spot of dew lingering, your freshly washed laundry is kept raised up away from any damp grass. It’s lightweight and ideally sized for most wash loads, whilst the slotted design helps keep things fresh inside. Even carrying it around the house is easy, and it can also be called into action next to the ironing board to keep things within easy reach, or when folding garments away into drawers and cupboards.

Easy to Use and Store

Slotting neatly under most washing machine doors with its legs retracted, it’s then easy to carry outside to where you want it before pushing the buttons on either side to make the legs pop out. When you’ve finished hanging out or bringing in the laundry, simply pull up the side grips to retract the legs back into the base for easy storage. It can also be used as a conventional ‘legless’ laundry basket for those times when the weather doesn’t oblige and you need to dry your washing indoors.
