Smart Pole

Have to admit that I was a bit weary when I bought this as I usually opt for products with good reviews and this was new so no one had rated it yet. However, I was not disappointed. It was easy to assemble - didn't even need the instructions! Once put together, the arms folded in and the height adjustable poles slid together easily for storage. One of my main worries was that it would just topple over but with four legs at the bottom, it is very sturdy. Have just trialled it properly with laundry - easily took two pretty full loads and there's still space left. Recommended!

I am more than happy with this product because it negates my having to use my tumble dryer, as it is more than capable of taking all the washing I have to dry! I think it is a very good design, as it is more sturdy than a previous pole type airer that I had before. Living in a one bedroom flat I am aware of how important it is to use existing space well. Smart pole ticks this box, especially as I can fold it up and store it in my wardrobe.

Generous hanging area and clever use of vertical space above - easily holds two washes for a relatively small footprint. I bought this for myself originally but now its going with my son to university - he is house sharing with 3 others and this solves the question of where to hang all the laundry where space is limited. The big advantage is they can hang their clothes and when dry, just transfer the hangers to their wardrobe (they never iron anything anyway!). Superb product - now I need another one for me.

If it wasn't for the useless instructions (I've still not found a home for one piece!) and that it's not as inconspicuous to store as I was expecting, I would have rated it higher. However, it's a great concept and now negates the need to dry clothes on hangers on door frames all around the house !!

Overall I find it excellent, you can hang things, lay them flat or fold over lines. It takes up little room when folded, but does need atall area to store. Easy to put together though instructions could be clearer.. Not good for long dresses. Would have been even more useful if you could adjust the height of the line section.
