"Great gadget for clearing up as you go along" star star star star star This review is for an older version of this product I always make a mess preparing veg or fruit because I push the peelings off the chopping mat and use it to funnel the prepared items into the pan or bowl I'm using. Then I have to scrape up all the rubbish and I inevitably miss bits or drop them in transit to the bin. This item is ideal for mess-pots like me. In between usages I keep it over the under-sink cupboard door where my wiping up cloths have finally found a convenient home. Only minor thing is that it gets in the way if you are working at a particular worktop so you need to store it, eg turning it round to be inside a cupboard door
