The generous surface area of our De Luxe Ironing Table makes short work of the biggest loads, taking even bed linen easily in its stride. And as you steam through your mountain of ironing, you’ll need somewhere to store the freshly pressed bundles – no problem, fold out the hanger rack and laundry shelf and everything you need is right at hand.
The steel mesh top allows steam to flow through to prevent sogginess and the over-sized iron rest holds both ordinary and steam generator irons.

I replaced my old board with this and loved the height straight away but I didn’t like the cover as it was too thin, I got in touch with you and you sent me a replacement cover which did the trick 100% now I am a happy bunny again. Thank you for a fantastic board couldn’t be happier sad I know!!!
The size is fantastic and makes light work of large items - bath towels, table cloths, bed linen. The automatic locking system is brilliant. Only a couple of issues that would make this a 5-star rating: the cover is quite thin which means that you often get the marks of the metal trellis underneath onto the clothes (will remedy by adding a padded cover); to use with my traditional steam iron, I have had to bend the 2 parts of the rest (in the middle of the steam station shelf) as the gap between them was just too small to hold the iron in place.

I found that my sheets in particular became marked with the tiny holes in the board - and reading the other reviews, perhaps this is because the cover is too thin. I also found that cord on my iron constantly gets 'wedged' in the gap between the iron plate and the board which is very irritating. i do like the size of the board though and it's easy to put up. So far I've not used the extra features like the shelf but I'm sure they come in handy.

I recently purchased this ironing board. I liked everything about it apart from the thickness of the board cover. Due to it being to thin it did not give an easy iron. I purchased a second cover to put over the top which made an improvement. I have decided to send the board back and purchase the Brabantia board instead. As i had spent more buying the previous ironing board and extra cover than just buying the Brabantia. Lets hope this board lives up to the reviews customers have given.
So glad to know I am not alone in the disappointment with the thinness of the cover like other customers loved the ironing board but so disappointed with the cover I ironed a pair of black trousers only to see the mesh design showing on the leg. It seems the only solution is to buy another cover to go on top of the existing one but with this in mind it will make this a very expensive ironing board.
