Lock'n'Lock Compost Caddy

Before buying this caddy, I had tried 2 different designs - ceramic & plastic. Both failed - the ceramic one became chipped and the plastic one became regularly 'wet' both inside & on the lid (condensation from the contents in the liner). This caddy is perfect. Using a compostable liner, the edges can be tucked away under the inner basket. There is very little condensation as the basket keeps the liner off the base of the caddy. On emptying, both basket & lid can be easily wiped with antibacterial solution. Rounded corners make cleaning really easy. A BRILLIANT design! Well done Lock&Lock.

I ordered this compost caddy as I thought the idea of being able to seal it was really good to stop flies getting in and smells getting out. I was disappointed to discover that the lid does not lock unless the liner is used. I wanted to use it without the liner to give it a bigger holding capacity. Wish I had known beforehand.
