Stainless Steel Compost Can

I agree with the previous reviewer. It's a good size and shape so fits neatly on my windowsill and its capacity is equal to its size. It cleans easily and it fits with my stainless steel appliances. Having said that however its walls are a bit thin and 'tinny'. For the price I would have expected better quality comparable with a saucepan for example. I think if they address this issue they could lift this from the realms of kitchen 'gadgetry' to an iconic kitchen staple must have.

I purchased this compost can about six weeks ago and am delighted with it. I did have a cheepie square plastic one which was difficult to wash out but this one is so easy. It sits on my worktop and does not look out of place with all my other stainless steel equipment. The filter in the lid works very well and it does not leak smells into the kitchen.Thank you Lakeland for a truly functional every day use item.
