It looks a softie, but this is one tough little mat! Boasting all the properties of our other Hug Rugs, but with built-in brush-action scraper fibres to remove even more mud and dirt in heavy traffic areas.

At last a mat which stops the mud at the door and works. Even with my dog and grandchildren running in and out of the house this mat has helped to keep my beautiful stone floor clean. I have even been back to store to buy another.
Amazing mat! I love the fact there is a tougher bristle to remove even more of the dirt off my muddy horsey boots. This mat is a must for every front and back door!
This picks up the dirt well and after 6 months use still looks like new. Other reviews of a different colour were complaining about the edges fraying. There is no 'edge' to the mat (it's just cut out of a larger sheet of material) and as such there were some loose bits of material at the edges. I gave it a good going over with the hoover and that was the end of that, no further fraying.
i am very pleased with the quality of this mat and most importantly it washes well - i just wish they were in larger sizes to keep more of my floors clean.
My wife & I bought this from Windermere store. My wife and myself are retired now so we do a lot of walking ... This mat is simply wonderful , it does soak up , it does as it was sold to us ... Well done Lakeland ... When we go back to store .... Another will be bought ..
