Compact Free-standing Rotary Airer

This is stable, easy to move around as not too heavy, well made and easy to put up. I'm very happy with it!

WELL DONE LAKELAND YOU HAVE DONE IT ONCE AGAIN WHAT A BRILLIANT ITEM BEING OF A OLDER GENERATION ANYTHINK THAT MAKES WASH DAY EASIER IS GREAT.ALSO I HATE SEEING A WASHING LINE IN THE GARDEN BUT THIS IS GREAT BECAUSE I CAN JUST FOLD IT AWAY.SO WELL DONE ONCE AGAIN I DONT KNOW WHAT I WOULD DO WITHOUT LAKELAND AND YOUR GREAT IDEAS.MY ONLY COMPLAINT IS I WISH YOU OPENED A SHOP IN THE SOUTH SO I DID NOT HAVE TO TRAVEL SO FAR.

Love using this new purchase, it is easy to assemble and is a sturdy construction. Can be manoeuvred indoors and out when extended if the tripod base is folded or temporarily removed. This type of drying saves on electricity bills (tumble driers and heated driers) and is therefore kind to the environment and the bank balance - will pay for itself in reduced bills.

Having moved a few months ago, an external drying area was low on the list of priorities in our renovation project. I've been 'making do' with Lakeland's fabulous electric airer, but wanted something to use outside pro tem. I was really pleased to see this item in the latest catalogue, and it's great (both indoors and outdoors) ~ particularly as clothes can be hung with pegs. Although the first reviewer isn't able to manoeuvre it through doorways once loaded, I've found it possible by taking off the top section. It's very stable and sturdy, and I love the neat storage bag, too!

I just bought this airer and can't stop washing it's so fantastic to use! No more heat loss from hanging things on the radiator, this is the perfect winter time solution. If you want a portable outdoor rotary drier either for home or camping/caravans, this is the real deal - stable in the wind (yes, I've tested it) and it does rotate unlike a lot of others. It takes a full load of washing from my 7kg machine. Indoors you can move it around to find the sun, although once up and loaded you can't manouver it through doorways. I was a bit sceptical about how robust this airer would be but it is well built and I expect to have it for a long time. Lakeland delivery was fast and securely packed. I am Mrs Happy!
