Great at keeping moisture out of a damp corner in my bedroom. Only small so don't expect them to work miracles but a good little gadget all the same.
This just works. The only thing wrong with my 10 year old KA was a damp (frosty) windscreen and now it just isn't any more. Worth every penny.
The first set of these I had didn't last long before the colour on the penguins ran leaving them pink all the time - making it impossible to tell when they were saturated. Lakeland's excellent customer service meant they were both replaced. On the replacements although there is no colour run off, the colour has faded making it difficult to determine if they are "full". Also they are not as effective as the humidifiers that use disposable absorbent crystals.
As the other reviewers say it doesn't last long. But then that might not be the products fault. It's very likely that there's too much moisture for this handy dandy to cope with. I'm very pleased with Pingi.
I bought 2 one for each of our cars. Despite us having 2 nearly new cars, during the super wet winters the windows do mist up overnight and in the car park at work. Sometimes when in a rush having to wait for the car heaters to clear the windscreen is a pain. I thought I would give the pingi's a go. We are NOT disappointed, the windscreens are never misted. I can just get in and go. I leave all my colleagues sat in their cars at the end of the day. A few are going to get their own. They work far better than expected. I pop them in the microwave about once every 2 weeks and am good to go again
