Lakeland 2-in-1 Cyclonic Vac

For the price, this little vacuum is excellent value for money. I keep this vacuum upstairs and although one can't expect it to have the power of my £300 vac kept downstairs, it is perfectly adequate for vacuuming carpets in 3 bedrooms and hard floor in the bathroom.Also the detachable hand held section is ideal for the stairs. I wouldn't be without this little vacuum now.

Due to a shoulder injury I am finding it difficult to vacuum my stairs and lift 'normal' weight cleaners. I have looked at hand held products but most have a short battery life. We have 3 dogs and 6 cats and a 'fur problem'! Our 3 flights of stairs are being repainted (no carpets due to fur) and we tend to vac them daily. This arrived today and I have to say that I wasn't expecting miracles BUT it works - the suction is good, so easy to use, very lightweight and the flex is long enough to reach from the middle landing up to the top floor and ground floor. It's also good for the bathrooms and kitchen and hall floors (all tiled). I don't expect it to work miracles on carpet and so will continue to use the heavy one for this.I hope it stands the test of time, as I tend to have to buy a new vacc every 18months to 2 years (again due to fur clogging up the works) - I will let you know!Many thanks.

I have no problem with my existing machine but now find it heavy to carry upstairs. When I saw the 2 in 1 electric Cyclonic Vac I had my doubts about the cleaning power of such a lightweight machine. I ordered one, which arrived today and I could not wait to try it out. The power is amazing, it picked up broken biscuits with no problem, it is so easy to clean and store in the smallest of space. I would recommend this to everyone, it is brilliant on both carpets and solid floors --- and yes, it can be lifted with one finger !

I bought this to use in our static caravan with the intention of it permanently staying there. However, i have brought it back home. I have an 11 month old baby girl who insists on picking up the smallest bits of fluff and putting them into her mouth. As a working mum it was a struggle to constantly drag out the heavy vacuum to keep the floor baby safe. I now use this Vac daily, no hassle and baby doesn't mind the noise. Once she has grown out of putting everything into her mouth it will go back into the caravan.A really good buy.

I have had this product for only a week and am really pleased at how well it cleans and how very flexible the head is to move around and under furniture etc. A great little machine and well priced!
