"Very impressed"
I have tiled floors and carpets and have found this vacuum cleaner to be excellent on both surfaces. It is quite expensive, but I feel it is worth the money, having a lot of good features. It is much quieter than other cleaners I have owned. It follows obediently where-ever I want it to go and the flex rewind works well, if a little enthusiastically! There are no moving parts in the cleaning head (no revolving brush) so long hairs cannot get caught and it picks up the dirt very well with good suction. The dirt canister is easy to disconnect and reconnect and emptying is easy. (A boon, as my new carpets are still shedding!). Any niggles? Well, there isn't an on/off switch on the handle, but it is well placed on the main body of the cleaner and easy to operate. And it is a little heavy, but not difficult to lift. So far, after about 6 weeks, I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it.
