"Lightweight duster but Mopping nightmare" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I bought this in the sale and thought that it couldn't be as bad as the reviews. I thought well at sale price it's cheaper than replacing the head on my old mop. Got the mop upstairs and thought try it on the bathroom before giving it a proper workout on the kitchen floor. Tried the dusting cover first. Worked well, went under the free standing unit and around the sink pedestal. However although the head is narrow enough front to back it was a benefit, it is so wide from side to side, it was in my opinion too wide. I have an average sized bathroom, but felt it really was too wide.I then went to change the heads and realised it was held on by Velcro which has a really strong grip. I have arthritis in my hand and found this difficult. So I put the mop head on, and being so wide, it is too wide to put into a standard mop bucket. I moped up the floor which needed doing, went to wash it out and realised, you could not dip into into a bucket and squeeze the head - you had to remove the mop cloth from the head pulling on the tight Velcro and then wash it by hand. I am so glad I wasn't doing the kitchen floor otherwise the walked in chicken poo might of been on the cloth which had to be removed by hand and then washed by hand. (Yes my chickens are very naughty and come into the house if my son leaves the door open ....before they get shooed out)It never occurred to me that you would have to remove the head to clean it before continuing with mopping..I then went to mop a bit harder and the head just kept flipping over. Demonstrated the mop to my son and especially when on free movement the head would just flip over. If you have any stubborn dirt it is of little use. Absolutely no use to me. As for the flexi bit, I really can not work that bit out, and wonder if what I got was a different model, as there were no direct instructions with it either. In all I wish I hadn't bought it and put the money to an old fashioned mop head.Maybe it can be returned or I will leave it in the static caravan for my visitors to use - probably better for chasing naughty cockerels that cleaning floors. support_agent A note from the team Were sorry that the pro flexi mop set hasnt been working well for you. "Pro Flexi Mop review" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I am disappointed in this product. I bought this to replace my old Lakeland floor mop which lasted for years. The mop handle is fine, easy to lengthen and shorten and clip on and off the head, but the head is a nightmare. One of the side clips falls off all the time: I have just mopped the kitchen floor and had to replace it about 6 times. To make it worse when the clip comes off the magnetic strips slide out and the whole thing falls apart and if you're mopping too quickly to stop the metal head scrapes the floor. Also I didn't realise till I got it that the mop heads are not machine washable, so I have to spend time handwashing these and drying on the line. Perhaps this could be pointed out in the catalogue - I certainly wouldn't have bought it had I realised this. And they're not that good anyway: certainly not as good as other mopheads I've had. I've persevered with it, but I'm afraid I'll be tossing it soon. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. Sorry for the disappointment. I'll be in touch shortly to help.
"very good" star star star star star I could not be happier with this flexi mop i have used one before and this is better, and the floor comes up cleaner than my old one , the comment about not putting in washing machine i think it is fine if you dont use softener , But i am more than happy with my purchase and would recommend to any one with wood or tiled floors it works wonders als good to clean tiles in bathroom were you cannot reach well done lakeland
"Disappointing" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I agree with much of Ms Harbison's review and although I have successfully washed the heads (even though hand washing is recommended) find that the mop is difficult to use and virtually impossible to manoeuvre especially when the flexible section has been released. Unless you use it very slowly and very carefully, it is difficult to control as the head flips over once pressure is applied. I regret my purchase and wish I had returned it before using. support_agent A note from the team Thankyou for your review. We'll contact you to help with the pro flexi mop set.
