Metaltex Airer Ciclone

I'm absolutely thrilled with this product. I did pause slightly when I saw the price and I was sceptical about the telescopic feet, but I have to say it does everything it says it will.I love the fact that you can have it half open. It seems to hold much more than my old airer (which was a vaguely similar design, but not nearly as good). And the feet really are easy to use - a quick nudge with the toe is enough!If I had just one quibble, it was this: the airer came supplied with two bolts (which secure the frame to the feet) but no nuts. I hunted high and low in case they'd fallen out of the packaging but couldn't find any. In the end I went to a DIY store and bought some.Perhaps the nuts and bolts could be supplied in a plastic bag securely fixed inside the box?

The thought of spending £70 on a drier was slightly crazy to me but figured if its as good as it appears it should literally last for year.Easy to build together, very straight forward, took only a few minutes. Used that very day and very impressed. Extremely sturdy, holds alot of washing (two good loads!) and when I was finished it folded down and stored easily.I wouldn't normally be the type of person that would spend £70 on a drier but I've been left feeling extremely pleased that I did!

I was hoping for good things with this airer - but I have to say I am really disappointed for a few reasons. Firstly, it arrived damaged, with the bottom bar bent. I know you would have changed this, but when I put the 'feet' on the airer, it became obvious that it would not fold down to 3" as your website states. It is more like 8" of space needed because of the extending feet. If this had been designed differently, with the feet folding inwards, then it probably could fold down to 3". I would suggest your product information on the website could be changed to give the correct information.Each drying area (shelf) has a sharp area on it at the side, perhaps where it has been attached to something during manufacture. I was surprised at this, as at times quite delicate clothing needs to be dried, and I would imagine this would catch on that.I have called customer services who arranged for it to be collected. All in all, extremely disappointed in this product.

I've got a couple of cheaper plastic-coated metal airers but they're not exactly sturdy or stable, are going slightly rusty and are just not designed well enough for positioning in front of radiators. This Ciclone airer is excellent! It was easy to assemble and is very light but also very sturdy and looks rustproof. It's almost as wide as my bathroom radiator and fits perfectly in front of it - I can open the top 2 racks so the clothes hang over the radiator and dry quickly. There's a huge amount of drying space if all the racks are in use - but they fold down independently so you can have any combination. I didn't realise until it arrived but the top 2 "handles" are actually designed to hang clothes hangers (i.e. shirts) from so it's even more useful than I thought. OK, it's expensive, but it does the work of 2 normal airers and and I imagine it will last for ever.

I recently received the Metaltex Airer Circlone,after using it for a few weeks I am delighted,best ever airer I have purchased.Holds all my washing and dries quicker than on my old airer and folds down easily,well done lakeland for another superb product.
