Metaltex Airer Ciclone

Was unsure of this product when I spotted it in the catalogue but thought I would give it a go. It is the best airer I have owned! Holds loads of clothes, is of good quality and easy to load and put together. My clothes seem to need less ironing. Large enough for bedding too and clothes dry quite quickly. The adjustable legs are easy to adjust. All in all a great product (as always from Lakeland!).

Never thought I would get excited about a clothes airer but....it really is compact, holds 2 loads of washing no problem (and with kids I find this invaluable) and is incredibly tough and sturdy. Ignore the review which says you need 8 inches of width space to store, I have had no problems even in a tiny London flat; the feet tuck tidily away and it really is a very space efficient airer for its size. The hanging extensions on the top have hanger holes for three items each side, but I find I can get more on as there are small ridges on the top of the extension which I hold a few more items on. Fabulous. And the first airer which looks like it could last ages unlike the flimsy plastic ones I have used previously.

Delighted with this airer!! Great size and shape ........ it's a beauty!! Very easy to put 'feet' on and off you go. Arrived very quickly as well. I can put my old one into retirement now .... no shame to it after many years use. Hope this one lasts as well.

I'm absolutely thrilled with this product. I did pause slightly when I saw the price and I was sceptical about the telescopic feet, but I have to say it does everything it says it will.I love the fact that you can have it half open. It seems to hold much more than my old airer (which was a vaguely similar design, but not nearly as good). And the feet really are easy to use - a quick nudge with the toe is enough!If I had just one quibble, it was this: the airer came supplied with two bolts (which secure the frame to the feet) but no nuts. I hunted high and low in case they'd fallen out of the packaging but couldn't find any. In the end I went to a DIY store and bought some.Perhaps the nuts and bolts could be supplied in a plastic bag securely fixed inside the box?

The thought of spending £70 on a drier was slightly crazy to me but figured if its as good as it appears it should literally last for year.Easy to build together, very straight forward, took only a few minutes. Used that very day and very impressed. Extremely sturdy, holds alot of washing (two good loads!) and when I was finished it folded down and stored easily.I wouldn't normally be the type of person that would spend £70 on a drier but I've been left feeling extremely pleased that I did!
