Lakeland Home Mop Set

I purchased 2 mops from lakeland as I wasn't quite sure which one to choose. This, whilst being the cheapest of my choices, is fantastic. The dust collector is great on my kitchen floor (am a mother to two children under 3 - it gets a lot of use!) & the scubber pad is a fantastic tool, managing to remove virtually all of my childrens floor food artwork. Highly recommended with fantastic customer service - thank you.

I have tried several mops over the years, but this is fantastic, not only is it so easy to use, but also to store away. Would recommend it easily.

Bought this as have just renovated and wanted a chemical free option for my new wood floors. However, I'm using it everywhere as the dust grabber is great for dealing with plaster dust. I'm even going to get one for my mum.

I have a small bathroom floor surface and have used floor wipes for the last few years, however discovered when using this for the first time just how much dirt was still there. The scrubber is effective yet gentle on tiles so no issues there.One thing to be aware of is that the mop head is quite large, it would be good to see a smaller version for people with small spaces like me.

I bought this product when my last 'traditional' mop broke, thinking that it would replace both this and my shabby old broom but have found that I still need them both.I do actually like this for my wooden floors which never get properly dirty; the pad for dry-cleaning is much more effective than other "mops" of this type and I also find it convenient for giving them a quick clean with the wet head and a squirty bottle of my normal wooden floor cleaner (I'm sorry, I just don't trust water to do the job!). This is far easier than filling a bucket with water and spending ages wringing out the mop so it's not too wet.On the tiled kitchen floor it's another story. Food spills, muddy feet and paws mean that this mop just isn't effective enough without constantly washing out the pad, as another reviewer said. It's certainly no substitute for a good old mop with some soapy water! Any dirt which needs to be swept up tends to be bigger particles - bits of mud, crumbs etc and this product is just too much faff compared to a good broom. Shame. I wanted to like this a lot more than I did.
