Lakeland Home Microfibre Mop

I wanted to use this as a mop but it is very unwieldy to use; the handle is flimsy, and the shape actually makes it difficult to manoeuvre. I was very disappointed in how difficult it was to take the mop head off to rinse it; the Velcro straps are very fiddly and it takes a long time to take off and on. The actual mop cleans quite well, but it isn't worth the hassle. then to crown it all, when I washed it in the washing machine it has all come to pieces! The lining has torn and separated from the main part.

Like this instead of a traditional mop as I can keep it handy a lot easier and stick it the eashing machine. BUT after only light use the stichting has pulled apart and the white layer in between the front and bag has disintegrated and comes out when I'm taking off or putting it on. This mop is an excellent idea but the mop head needs to be more robust.

Extendable handle only worked for a couple of uses. Have now purchased alternative.

Excellent all rounder as can be used for sweeping laminate floors instead of getting Hoover out. Gets rid of the annoying dust that collects on floor and in the corners! Also use with floor wipes to get rid of tougher marks.

What I really, really wanted was a fluffy round headed mop made out of microfibre (like the old fashioned string ones) - i use one like this in my French house - but have been unable to find similar in UK even on your fab site. So I compromised and bought the triangular one - however I find it a bit clunky - yes it gets into corners but is laborious to use and needs manipulating to do the skirting boards.
