Dear Lakeland,I have to say that this one I tried and was very disappointed, you end up taking more time to clean up after it than as if I hadn't used it all, it makes a lot of mess.A nice idea but just doesn't work very well, ( prefer my Oven Mate Instant foam and a good sponge !).Sophia

When I saw this I immediately thought "great,just what I've ben looking for". I was so fed up trying to find a way to get rid of excess oils,juices/fats left over from cooking.The amount of kitchen roll I used was rediculous and not great for environment etc.When I saw this instore I even called my mum to tell her and she said "get me one too!"I used mine last night for first time to use on juices/liquid left over from when I roasted a few chicken legs and thighs.Used as directed on tub but found I had to use way more powder than I had assumed I would need to.I stopped at using nearly half the tub before I resorted to my old faithful kitchen roll.Lap it Up did not "transform the liquid to granules" but just a "soggy gloop" I suppose if I had used more.....and more....and more of the powder it would have done but I did not purchase this expecting to us it only 2/3 times.After infoming my mum about this she also agreed that she has to use more product than led to believe.A great idea but not quite right yet.Two very disappointed valued Lakeland customers.

What a let down this product is. I bought it specifically for use with cooking oil - it doesn't do the job, simple as that.
Your review is appreciated, it's not nice that the lap it up has been a disappointment. We'll contact you to put things right.The buyer has commented: The formulation hasn't changed so it's possible customers are not using enough of the product to soak up the liquid.
I thought the exact same as the above reviewer 'Emma'-and then had exactly the same results as her. The end result is an awful gloopy mess-no easier to get rid of than the initial oil! Thanks Emma for saving me having to type more!!The Buying Team are "really excited...highly recommend buying it" - I'd love to be able to speak to the ones who've actually tried this!!The description of the product's performance surely contravenes the Trades Descriptions Act!I don't know how on earth they sanctioned the sale of this!!
