Depending on style of shoe, you could get two pairs in one box (i.e flip flops/flat sandals). With the boxes being clear, you can see at a glance the item. I now have a very tidy shelf within my wardrobe with shoes in nice storage.

Mrs Jones 03 November 2017 Having previously used 'stackable' shoe storage boxes with drop-down fronts which didn't stack properly and were quite difficult to close I opted to buy these boxes from Lakeland. They are easy to use and stack, good quality and good value for money. I stack mine in the corner of our bedroom and they certainly don't look out of place. The only mistake I made was not buying more for future use.
