Discreet bin fresheners, whose fresh outdoor fragrance will helpfully mask the odours of a much-opened kitchen bin. Lasting for up to 3 months, each is embossed with a star motif and fastens to the bin's lid with a powerful adhesive pad.

"Great idea.... fell in bin"

I read the prior reviews and thought that there was a chance the product might fall into the bin, but decided to take the risk. This ended up being a mistake as sure enough the first one fell into the bin after a couple of weeks of use. I've now stuck the second one outside the bin and so far so good....

"What a waste of money"

Stuck the first one on my bin and it immediately fell off and broke. The second one wasn't much better. They didn't smell of anything at all. Don't buy them!

"They both fell in!"

Was pleased when I spotted these in Lakeland as I have been looking for a solution to our smelly kitchen bin for ages. Despite being regularly emptied the smell seems to come back within a day. Unfortunately the bin stars did not do what they said "on the tin". The first fell in sticky pad and all after about 3 days. The second one fell in even sooner and this time left the sticky pad behind. Very disappointed and struggling to find an alternative product anywhere.

"Needs a better way to fix it to the bin lid."

Like the other reviewers, we've had problems with these falling off into the rubbish because the sticky pad doesn't hold them for longer than a day. The smell is pleasant and they do seem to keep the bin fresh - when they aren't diving into it! We tried fixing the bin star to the side of the bin, behind the bin liner, so that it would not at least fall into the rubbish. It fell off and the bin liner got stuck to the sticky pad instead! I'm now wondering whether putting the bin star in a small net bag, tying it to the bin handle and hanging it inside might work.... I'm determined to make these work!

"Poor item"

I didn't read the other reviews before purchasing, but seems I have experienced the same problems.Removed the foil and stuck the 1st star in the bin , but even after a couple of days I couldn't smell it (was expecting it to smell like the scratch and sniff sticker on packaging).So tried the second one and again no smell, lifted off the bin lid today to find one must have dropped off and fallen in with the rubbish. Unfortunately this product is not worth buying.
