Boasting a large ceramic soleplate that distributes heat evenly, it cuts ironing time by improving 'glide-ability' to reduce rucking and creasing – and less time spent at the ironing board is always welcome! With a built-in alarm, our iron will beep to remind you if you've left it standing without movement after 10 minutes, or after 30 seconds if left face down, so accidental scorching of clothes is greatly reduced.

Great iron, heats up in seconds, easy and smooth to use especially the pull out chamber for filling with water. Long cord which neatly winds round the iron makes hard to reach areas childs play.I am very pleased with my purchase thanks again Lakeland.
This iron does a great job. It isn't too heavy, even when filled with water, has an easy to use digital temperature switch, heats up very quickly, and best of all, has an extra long cable which is a real boon.
I am delighted with this iron which I bought from Windermere on Saturday. It glides beautifully over fabrics and I'm sure it reduced my ironing time this week! It has excellent steam and the long cord is wonderful. The temperature changing is fast and effective, and hopefully the water filtering will work well as I live in a hard water area.
I love this iron. It's the best one I've ever had. Heats up quickly and easy to use. Slightly irritating when you keep catching the temperature change switches with your hand whilst ironing but it didn't stop me ordering a second one to use at my holiday home.
I like this iron as I have been looking for a decent one for a while.But I can see what the reviewers mean about catching the controls with you hand as you iron. I think that would become quickly annoying!Even the lady in the video catches the control as she is demonstrating it to us online!
