"MINE NEVER DID LOCK - I just accepted that!" star star star star_border star_border I bought one of these from the Windsor store quite some while ago. The handle has never locked, but I just accepted that this was so and still used it to this day - with a little fiddling and difficulty. However sinec moving last year we have now re-floored the new abode with almost all hard floors - so I look forward to a new Lakeland upgrade in this type of long-handled duster! support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear the flexi duster handle didn't lock and will be in touch soon to help. This product will soon be discontinued.
"tiles" star star_border star_border star_border star_border Bought this mop some time ago and won't buy another. The mop head gets clogged with dust/dirt and quickly became ineffective. We have tiled floors in our kitchen/dining room and bathroom. I find this mop does not pick up dust, crumbs etc properly so I have to sweep the floor after using it! Wouldn't be as bad if it could be washed but it can't. In addition, the handle often slips loose and shortens! Maybe mine was faulty and later models are better. support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry to hear that you've found the Californian flexi duster disappointing and will be in touch soon to help.
"Disappointing" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I thought this would answer my requirements - and it would if the product was durable. The felxible part is flexible and the reach is long. However, the flexible handle broke where it connected to the mop. In addition, the fastening part of the mop is made of vynl which tears easily and it is then impossible to fasten the mop to the head. An expensive piece of kit which is not worth the money. support_agent A note from the team We're sorry you've experienced this problem and will be in touch soon to help.
"Not sturdy enough" star star_border star_border star_border star_border I'm looking for a floor sweeper that will give an efficient and effective dust and dirt collection on a large expanse of hard flooring downstairs - this is not it. The lower part of the telescopic handle is quite feeble and bends to such an extent in use that it looks like it is going to snap any minute - I see it has on other's reviews. As a consequence you really have to be restrained when using. Flexibility is in a two way motion which limits efficiency in movement and the flimsy handle means you can't swivel through that. Will be requesting a refund - advice to others is avoid support_agent A note from the team Thank you for placing your review. We're sorry this floor duster did not meet your expectations. I'm pleased we were able to refund you for this disppointing duster.
"not sturdy enough" star star star_border star_border star_border I bought the flexi duster as I've had the Californian duster in the past - which was great.. Not quite sure how it happened, but the handle broke off where the duster joins. No use now. The duster part is fantastic, but it just isn't sturdy enough for everyday use. support_agent A note from the team Thanks for the feedback and taking the time to contact our customer services team.
