Dust Genie

I took delivery of a dust genie last week with a variety of other products. Unusually for me I did not read the review before ordering. I have only used it twice but so far I love it. We have vaulted ceilings and exposed beams and it has been wonderful at getting into these hard to reach places and at cleaning the top of a very tall book press. I can attest to the results as we can see the top of the book press from the stairs. I do hope mine won't break like those of the other reviewers.

I see there are a few dissatisfied customers, but I only recently received my dust genie and so far I think it's fabulous! No hiding place for those ceiling cobwebs now. The handle is a bit heavier than I was expecting, but so far so good.

Mine too has a problem as the top of the duster is no longer protected with "feathers", so have had to stop using it. Wish I'd gone for the real feather duster.

This could be a brilliant product but having had my second one snap and now reading the existing reviews I realise this is not uncommon. I didn't take my first one back but I will be doing so this time. Come on Lakeland - beef up the weak point.

Mine has just broken too. The joint that allows you to angle the head is too weak.
