When it comes to recycling, we all want to do our bit for the environment, but nobody wants to recycle paper containing personal information. So when we saw this clever little gizmo which will help 'stamp out' the threat of identity theft, we were all queuing up to have a go! Hide IT prints a 'gobbledygook' of symbols on top of your personal details, to leave them completely illegible, even when held up to the light, so you can happily recycle all your documents without risk.
Not suitable for papers with a gloss finish, photographic type paper and will not cover up bold print or felt tip pen.

Thank you Lakeland for providing a product that helps me recycle more paper!This does work and yes, as another reviewer has said, you sometimes have to stamp more than once to cover bold print but hey ho, I like stamping !! One thump for each identity fraudster!I am just buying some refils in case it runs out on me, no sign of that yet & I have used it quite frequently over the last 3-4 weeks.
This piece of kit is excellent! Completely covers all details (though with some you need to stamp twice to fully cover). I'd highly recommend this.
I think the Hide ID is absolutely briiliant, okay you may have to stamp somethings a couple of times, but it does save an awful lot shredding, and its easier to recycle just straight in the box.Pam.
Simple but great idea. Was getting fed up with shredding everything with an address. Now can use this and pop it all in the recycling. Yay!
Absolutely brilliant and makes re-cycling so much easier.Normally I tear out and shred the name & address but this totally obliterates the info.Highly recommended.
