Ewbank® Cascade Carpet Shampooer

After two separate attempts to clean the carpets with this product, it's now consigned to the pile in the back of the garage! Not at all impressed with it. It could just be that my carpets are beyond hope but it made no difference whatsoever. Same stained carpet, just soggier! The shampoo, however, is great when used with a scrubbing brush. I have many clean patches dotted around the dining room. Just have to find the energy to do the rest of the floor that way!

I bought this product to clean my rugs and have to say it works best on flatter ones. It took more effort on the deep pile rugs because you need to position the roller at an angle or it doesn't glide across properly. Overall it gave an adequate clean with the shampoo supplied.

I recently purchased this shampooer when I moved into my new house and although it cleans fairly well it is not too good for someone like myself who has arthritic hands as the lever used to release the shampoo is very stiff and difficult to hold down.

Works well, but you have to be quite strong to use it! I was sweating buckets by the time i'd finished with it!

As all the reviews I'd read about this product were dreadful I was a bit apprehensive about buying it, but after more stains on the carpet from my 2 messy toddlers I decided to give it a try. It's fantastic! My dining room carpet is almost pristine again! It was easy and simple to use, and the results are just incredible. One tip is to ignore the level saying water and shampoo, just dilute 1/10 for the amount you think you'll use.
