Harnessing the power of dry steam, Home-tek's slimline Steam Mop provides a continuous high temperature to loosen dust, dirt and grease from tiles, vinyl and sealed wooden floors, without the need for detergent. Its low profile means it gets underneath hard to reach at areas while the steam automatically shuts off when handle is in upright position.
Includes a glider attachment for freshening up carpets and rugs and the water reservoir is conveniently placed for easy top-up. Comes with 2 microfibre pads - 1 standard, 1 scrubber.
Note - In hard water areas we recommend the use of Hometek Water Softener with the mop.

I have recently moved house and now have tiles on kitchen and bathroom floor, laminate on the hall floor and amitco floor in the lounge. The thought of the old mop and bucket didn't appeal at all since I have back problems. My daughter talked about her steam mop and I bought this one. It is FANTASTIC! It is so easy to use, saves the back and the floor dries in no time. I agree with other users in that the lead is short so I just use and extension lead and I am off cleaning my floors which takes no time at all. Thanks for this.

Now on my second one of these. I think it's brilliant, especially for cleaning floors around two toddlers and a dog. No chemicals, and the floor dries very quickly. But it started to become unreliable, making all the right noises but no steam, and the pad was dry. My husband had a look inside and decided to put some limescale remover into the water compartment along with lots of water. He then turned it on and within two minutes it was steaming away. He then refilled it with water and cleaned the kitchen floor in record time.
I purchased the steam mop a couple of weeks ago - have used it a couple of times and find it does a great job. Yes, the cord is a little short but I manage to cover quite a large area by switching from one socket to another. Otherwise no reservations whatsoever.
