Being such a straightforward concept, we weren't convinced that tinkering with swing bin design could come up with any practical improvements. We should have known better than to doubt simplehuman!

The perfectly weighted lid swings effortlessly on a robust hinge, while the top clips easily on and off, sitting low enough to cover up messy bag overhang. Best of all, unlike most swing bins we've come across, cleaning the lid is no bother thanks to the push-button release which allows for simple removal of the 'swinger' for thorough washing inside and out. With its smart, matt black finish, it's a winner that will be right at home wherever you keep it.

"WORTH THE MONEY"

We have had one of these bins for well over a year now and its as good as the day we first got it. Solid, easy to clean and looks good. Worth the price.

"A perfect bin"

Having broken several of the press top bins I decided to change to a swing top in the hope that it would last longer. This bin is excellent. It fits neatly into the kitchen and is exactly what I wanted. Well worth the money.

"Simplehuman De Lux Swing bin"

Good looking and well made, but it is impossible to scrape food waste into it without taking the top off. You need one hand to hold the plate or pan and the other to hold the scraping utensil, this leaves you looking at a closed bin flap, it would be helpful if it had a detente position whereby the flap stays open for the scraping process.

"Superb Bin!"

I absolutely love this bin, it looks stylish and works like a dream. The swing top makes it easy to use, (I previously had a pedal bin), especially as it is weighted. I also love the fact that the top comes apart for easy cleaning. Would highly recommend.

"Really delighted"

I am delighted with this bin it's just perfect, I have spent a fortune on bins over the years that fall apart and this one fits the bill. It is easy to take apart for cleaning and for fitting bin bags inside. It had a label inside telling me the size of bags I need to purchase for it, so no more guessing or buying bags that don't really fit. I was also able to register the bin on the SimpleHuman website giving me a 5 year warranty.
