Over-Door Pan Lid Store

I saw this in store and thought what a great idea it was, but can only agree with the other reviewers - it only fits very shallow pan lids (most of mine are too deep), the top and bottom don't connect together well and I never found out if it was clanky or not because, if you have a shelf in the cupboard you're using it in, you can't close the cupboard door once you've hung the lid holder over the back. Great idea, badly executed.

If you own a set of pan lids that fit in this device-and for that you'd need to own three lids, a large, a medium and a small one (in diameter), all of which are flat-you might be able to use this. It comes with two pairs of over-door hooks at different lengths depending on how much clearance you need at the top. If you don't own lids like that (and I have the pans that Delia recommended in her How to Cook series), these racks are useless. I couldn't fit a single pan in! I had read the reviews that had been posted before I purchased these, but I was going to use it on the outside of a cupboard, and thought the problems others had pointed out wouldn't apply to my intended circumstances (and the price seemed like a bargain too good to be missed). This was a big mistake and I'm disappointed that the Lakeland product description failed to make any reference about the rack only being suitable for holding fairly flat lids. Lakeland's usually very good at those sort of warnings so I didn't even consider it to be a potential issue. But it is.

Bought this with the intention of using it in my soon-to-be-fitted new kitchen and therefore maximising space to the fullest. Kitchen is now complete and there is no way that this will fit on any of the doors of the cupboard. Very disappointed........

I was really disappointed with this product. Seemed a perfect solution but only half of my (smaller) pan lids actually slot in to the gaps and then only in a particular order and if I leave an empty slot between each lid. As a result I am only managing to store 3 lids in what should be a 6 lid storer!

I agree with the previous review, it just doesn't work. The weight of the pan lids pulls it away from the door and the lids fall out every time I open the door. Useless.
