The high-grade stainless steel changes the molecular structure of the odour when it comes in contact with water, hence neutralising niffs. Eco-friendly as it works without fragrances or chemicals, and won't need replacing.

I did think that this was a bit expensive for what it was but it does what it says. I am really please that I bought it. Make sure that you attach it to the cutlery basket as it shows in the picture as I hung it from the top basket at first and it kept falling off.
Having purchased many of the odour killers available for the dishwasher i found none worked for more than a few washes. As a family who only put the dishwasher on every couple of days I tried this after seeing it in the shop - you can't quite understand how this would work but it does - no more smells of stale food or gone off milk! well worth the money .
I bought my first one back in June 2009 and found the product worked really well and was excellent. Then suddenly 3 weeks ago it stopped working. I thought it was time to replace with a new one, so I made a special trip into town to purchase a new one. But now this second one doesn't work and I am about to query it. In terms of rating the first one would be 5 stars but this second one is not even worth 1 because it is not working.

This didn't work for me at all, and has gone in the bin. Maybe it works if you open your dishwasher a lot to let smells out as well. Being a single person, I don't open the dishwasher a lot, and when I did odour wafted out. I have never had this with any of the disposable odour killers I have used. Shame about this, because I don't like the fragrance of disposable ones, and of course - the cost adds up.

I have had one of these for over a year now. I bought my partner one too.They are brilliant. I wish I had brought my daughter one when they were £10 as they have gone up now. Still worth it but every penny counts.
