This has been such a success that we now own the smaller mat for our back door as well. I was amazed that it really is machine washable - it came out like new. Just what you need for a hallway. Thanks Lakeland!
Ordered this for my utility room, so when the dogs come in with wet feet, they have somewhere other than tiles to dry off, and it works, and its easy to keep clean, shame its not just a bit wider, then it would cover most of the floor they lay on
I was expecting this to move about on the carpet so I bought some of the anti-slip stuff. That didn't stick on the rubber backing to the runner so I put it down in the hall anyway. So far the runner has managed to stay put even with a staffy running up and down on it. Remains to be seen whether his paw prints appear on the carpet after he's gone over the runner! Still it's a lot longer than the old bit of carpet we used as a doormat. I had no problems with it.
Had thought about buying one of these for ages for my utility room. We have 3 dogs with accompanying muddy paws. So far it seems to be doing the job very well - most of the muck seems to stay on the runner (which stays put on the tiled floor). I'll probably buy another one for the front door.
