Dishwasher Cutlery Basket

We have only just started to use the basket so cannot comment on long-term performance, but it does seem to be a very sturdy product. First-class service - good communications, excellent packaging and quick delivery.

The basket that came with our dishwasher was flimsy and really not fit for purpose. I found this one online but was put off by the previous reviews. However when I visited my local store in Milton Keynes the very helpful lady said that if I was not happy that they would refund without question. This wont be necessary as it is FAB! I think customers may not have clicked the handle in to place. I am SO happy that I dont have to trawl the internet for a new basket.

I've just come to order a new basket for my dishwasher as I foolishly left my Lakeland one in my old dishwasher when it was taken away. The basket that has come with my new machine is huge but fiddly and I really liked the one I had bought from Lakeland. I had no problem with it and bought it when they first came out. Now I'm wondering whether to order or not! The Lakeland basket is simple to load and unload. You can also get a lot of stuff in it. It did look a bit flimsy when it arrived but survived unscathed till I let it escape.Update -5 months on and still going strong. No problems!

Cheaper than a whole new dishwasher but the handle is too tall so we have had to remove it and throw it away. Not a real problem, just thought I would mention it!

I also was thrilled to find a basket to replace my old broken one. I have had mine several months now, but when emptying the dishwasher last night the handle remained in my hand while the basket fell away, resulting in cutlery all over the floor and the basket getting damaged on impact. I was amazed and very disappointed at this design fault.
