"Fabulous!"

star star star star star

I have had this product for nearly a year, use it everyday and consider it a marvel. Due to illness, my fingers do not fit into a pair of scissors and I have trouble exerting pressure with my hands. The iSlice lets me cut into packing tape on boxes, plastic wrap on magazines, cut out coupons, articles and recipes from magazines and newspapers and generally not have to ask for help. It is magnetically attached to the leg of my coffee table so it's always on hand. It's not sharp (a good thing) but it works. I love it and wouldn't be without it.

"Slice 'n' easy!"

I've not seen this before, anywhere! Lakeland introduces me to things like this. Thank you, all. This gadget is perfect. So long as I remember not to tip it and to keep it level in use. Packaging, and recipes to cut out, were made for this gadget! I know, it was the other way round as to which came first, but I'm being whimsical ;-)

"iSlice is Nice!"

This is a nifty gadget - once you get the hang of it, and the magnet keeps it close-to-hand on the side of my microwave. It <does> require you to hold it perfectly flat as you run the long edge along whatever you are trying to cut. I've had to train myself to do this, as it seems instinctive to try to tilt it up so it will dig in better... which is exactly the opposite to how it works.I've had my original iSlice for some time, and given it hard use on everything from parcel tape on packages through all grades of blister pack (although curved surfaces are not it's strong point, it works fine on flat ones). I especially like it for getting through the irritating cellophane wrappers on new CDs.I often find the iSlice is easier and simpler to use that digging scissors or a kitchen knife out of a drawer. After the heavy use I've given it, I have to say that I think the blade isn't working <quite> as efficiently as it did at first... but I keep using it - and I've gone out and bought a new one to have 'in reserve' because I wouldn't be without this little gadget.

"Love this!"

This review is for an older version of this product

I hate that ultra-thick plastic a lot of products now come in (including, ironically, this product!!) but this item safely cuts through it like a dream so you can just slip the product out.

"Very handy"

This does what it says! Its very handy, its even smaller than I had thought it was going to be, the magnet means it can "stick" to the fridge, ready for lots of handy uses. I love that its not an actual blade so you can't slice your finger. Well worth the money, really handy.
