iSlice® 5 "WHAT A LITTLE GEM THIS IS" Leeta 13 June 2014 I have had a Lakeland old style version of this for years but it can't beat the iSlice . At last a tool that gets through those infuriating plastic wraps that drive me mad. I have arthritic hands and on many occasions have had to give the plastic 'best' till I get a strong armed visitor. Not any more! I cut through a very stubborn plastic cover so easily I couldn't believe it. I will keep my old cutter as it has the gift of only cutting through one layer of paper without destroying all the pages clipping out a recipe or something, The new islice cuts through several sheets.

iSlice® 5 "Good, esp. for tremor, but not omnipotent" Candida 18 September 2013 This review is for an older version of this product I've found this invaluable. It's excellent on tape around boxes (which it can be impossible to get scissors under), those self-sealed plastic bags sold for posting, bubble-lined jiffy envelopes, and thinner blister packs. It won't do all blister packs or the tougher "clamshells". Got one for someone I know with shaky old hands too, very useful. You do have to hold it with its bottom flat to the thing being cut, took me a while to realise that when it wasn't cutting I was tilting it. Once you know, it becomes second nature.
