Moisture Trap

I had a really bad damp and mould problem in my bedroom to the extent that the condensation was running down the windows and had warped the window ledge and mould was constantly growing around the window and along the edge of the ceiling. I got the moisture trap at the beginning of December. Since then, I have barely had any mould or condensation. The moisture trap is very effective, but be patient. It takes a couple of weeks to start working, but since then, I have gone through the initial bag and a refill bag of crystals, so I would say they last about 5 weeks. The amount of moisture in the traps is quite impressive! The spout means it's easy to empty. Refilling was fiddly at first, but has now got easier, I think just due to use. For the price as well, I think it's an absolute bargain and am really impressed. Plus my room is free of mould, which can only be a good thing!

It was freezing cold last night and my car had no condensation on the windows this morning. I used the Moisture Trap all last winter with great results. I keep it just under the passenger seat and it works well.

I wanted to write a review to point out what good value these moisture traps are when you consider that you can buy a huge sack of refill crystals from Lakeland as well, and just refill the traps when you need to. I have bought other brands of moisture trap before, from DIY stores etc, before discovering these Lakeland ones. They all do the same job (and do it well, in my opinion), BUT only the Lakeland ones are refillable. I have saved a fortune with these and wish I'd found them sooner.

I live in a cold, damp flat, and wanted an inexpensive, inobtrusive product to cut down on the damp. I bought a moisture trap, and within a week it had about an inch of water in the tray. I'm intending on buying a second one for my bedroom.

Bought this product several years ago and its still going strong. We had a damp issue in one of our bedrooms and this sorted it out. Great product, have recommended it to friends, who have also had positive results. Great value for money.
