"I can't praise this product enough" star star star star star Moth Guard is expensive but it's so worth it. The moths I had loved the carpet, but weren't too fussed about my clothes, so moth balls were useless. If you have a serious moth infestation, I suggest you take a few days off work, stock up on Moth Guard. Move what furniture you can to another room, and spray the carpet following directions. Do all the carpet in your house and you will soon be rid of 99% of your moths. One warning - be careful on hard flooring. The oils in the product stick to the bottom of your socks/slippers and make them very slippy on hard flooring.
"It works" star star star star star_border I tried every thing to get rid of carpet moths, vacuuming, insecticide, cedar, lavender, bagging all my cloths, chopping out chunks of carpet under cupboards. And still they multiplied every time I relaxed. Whilst you still have to work hard at vacuuming washing careful storage, this was the only way I found of making a significant and long lasting dent in their numbers. I am finally nearly there with eradicating the pests.
"Effective but poor bottle design" star star star star star_border I agree with previous reviews that this product is effective. Its keeps moths away for 12 months. However I have now bought/used 3 bottles and I can never use the last part of the liquid, the trigger gets more and more ineffective as you use it. It is not due to a blocked nozzle. I tried removing the lids to tip the 'dregs' of each bottle into one BUT it is a sealed unit. "Very efficient but be aware of toxidity" star star star_border star_border star_border I tried this product and it seems very effective. Not only does it kill moth, it also kills flies, spiders, literally every insect that comes in contact with the product. The statement "Made from natural plant extracts" is misleading though, as the product also contains the pesticides Pyrethrin and Piperonyl butoxide, which are very toxic and only broken down completely in direct sunlight (which you might have shining onto your carpet) so be sure to wear a mask whilst spraying it around and keep pets in another room or outside! It works, but it's irresponsible to mark it as "natural". support_agent A note from the team Thanks for placing your review. The buying team have stated that there are natural ingredients in the product that help to kill off moths but the active ingredient is Pyrethrin
