Over Cabinet Tea Towel Bar

Saves hanging the tea-towel on the oven door! I liked the idea of the white tack, think I'll try that as mine does move about a bit. But it looks stylish and is in a useful place, just below the drainer.

Foolishly, I thought this would fit a door up to 2cm, but it is about .5cm too big for my kitchen cupboard door and kept falling off onto the floor when taking the tea towel off. However, I found that by putting 2 blobs of White Tak behind the hooks that slot inside the cupboard and 2 smaller blobs on the outer hooks, it now fits perfectly and stays in place. Space saving, highly attractive and modern and it does the job brilliantly. This is one of the best products in Lakeland - I wish I had got one sooner!

I have had 2 of these for a number of years & they are still going strong maybe I was just lucky or the other customers were just unlucky? I use mine in my bedroom, 1 over the radiator & 1 over the wardrobe door; the first holds anything that needs airing & the second is invaluable for clothes hangers when sorting wardrobe, or any other reason for not returning clothes immediately to wardrobe after wearing. I have seen an extra-long version, but can't recall where, and wondered if Lakeland could source it.

My kitchen, although only six years old has no provision fora towel or teatowel to hang ready for use. I purchased the Tea Towel Bar and what a boon this is. No more work surfaces cluttered up and more space to work. I am about to order two more for the kitchen and, just maybe the bathroom will have a treat as well !

I was put off by the reviews, but decided to try it anyway and, so far, so good. It's been about 6 months now - perhaps there have been improvements to the manufacturing process? Anyway, as the other reviewers have agreed, it's functional and looks great. I am very pleased, but I have to admit, I've held on to the packaging and receipt, just in case. I'll update you in another 6 months! Oh, and the tip about using the blue tack to hold it in place was spot on.
