Thousands of tiny yarns collect the dust and lock onto it, rather than just moving it around.
Duster head can be machine washed up to 10 times.
Extends from 128 to 195cm (50½" to 76¾") and can also be used without the handle.

When extended the lock failed to work. The duster was quite poor at picking up dust. The duster also showed poor flexibility meaning the item was disappointing when using for corners and edges.

The idea of this item is great and the extendable pole is perfect however the quality or the duster head is really not great. After about dozen weekly uses the top of the head is matted. The rubber knob is not an issue for me and leaves no marks but the matted head is no longer any use. I will not be buying a replacement head. I have tried to wash by hand as suggested by a member of staff in a store but that has not really done the trick. Might be easier to use an extendable handle with a mop head but not found one of those!

Bought this item on Wednesday. Unfortunately I agree with Susan who reviewed this item. However, desperately needed long feather duster after previous one broke & I have high ceilings. Will have to be very careful not to scratch wallpaper. Disappointing, and surprising that iem still for sale after such reviews.
I bought this in a Lakeland store. Have just started using it and it does a great job but have to agree with other reviewers - a bit flimsy, and the "quick release" button does absolutely nothing (is it broken?); also the knob on top is scratchy. Glad to see from the website that it can be washed.
This has been fun to play with, getting enormous amounts of cobwebs off the walls and ceilings, for hardly any effort. I haven't had any problems with the wire or plastic cover, unlike some other reviews. Unfortunately the fluffy head is now completely clogged - grey and solid - and even hoovering it doesn't clean or unstick it. How do you get it clean and ready to use again? It comes with no instructions.
