Gel Kilrock Limescale Remover Descaler 160ml

I have a metallic shower hose that you can't disconnect from the shower and it's one of those slightly stretchy ones where limescale builds between the grooves on the hose. Nothing would shift it. Put the gel on and left for a while, then put old toothbrush head on electric toothbrush and worked on each grove. Started to shift it, reapplied and a bit more went. Better than anything else but not miraculous as it wouldn't budge without the extra help from the electric toothbrush and didn't manage to budge all of it. A painstaking work in progress but better than nothing!

This gel is good and works but unfortunately after the first use the brush has come out of the applicator and disintegrated. Not a good advertisement.

Does just what is says on the tin. Really pleased with this. Because its extra thick it clings on and dissolves the limescale.

Ever since I moved to a hard water area I have tried every single limescale product under the sun, including some of Kilrock's other limescale products (sprays) and whilst they've been good I eventually resorted to using elbow grease and a hob scraper to get it off places where it builds up. This stuff however, absolutely incredible! It even got off a limescale stain that we inherited on the plug hole! For the price, and how far this stuff goes, it is an absolute BARGAIN.

Great product! Very effective at cleaning limescale from taps
