6 Chef's Tealight Candles

I much prefer these to candles in jars. You can burn them right to the end and they last quite a long time. The ones in jars often drown themselves long before finished. I use these in the kitchen and bathroom and really like the fresh smell.

These smaller chefs candles don't work. Purchased two boxes and have lit all six candles at once, makes no difference to cooking smells. The larger one might work better

I'm a bit surprised to read some negative reviews for these but not everything works for us all. I'm a very happy user of Price's candles, but in particular this one. We have a small kitchen that has both a hall and conservatory leading off it. After cooking something, like a curry, the smell can travel quite a bit. I find lighting one of these WHILE cooking really helps and makes a huge difference. Anyone that's not had a great experience with them could try it that way maybe if you haven't? You never know.

I bought these candles as I do no like the lingering smell when I use my deep fryer, even with new clean oil in. Which leads me to seldom use it and then it becomes a waste of valuable kitchen space. However, I found these to not be very effective in helping dispel or cover up the odour, even having several burning together. Although they smell pleasant, a normal tealight would give just as much scent and be cheaper. I would not recommend these and would not buy them again.

I was really hopeful for these candles. However, made fishcakes yesterday and lit two candles whilst making them and again whilst cooking them but this morning, fish smell still hanging around. They do have a pleasant smell, but do not get rid of the food smells. Very disappointed.
