Pack-Mate® Extra Large Stack & Vac Bags

At last, storage sacks which really work! I've tried various vacuum sacks and these are the only ones which stay deflated when full. They re-inflate when opened, not before.

Bags are brilliant if used correctly. Make sure you pinch hard on the plastic slider to close the bag and do this twice by re-running in the opposite direction, again pinching hard. This is the key to making the bags work and stay shrunken down once the air has been sucked out.I have the jumbo size, just ordered extra large too. Easy to use though but make sure you get your items even inside or you will end up with a funny shaped package when the air is sucked out, ie the plastic corners will turn over, so better to try and get your items well into the corners and make the package fairly even

I first bought this type of product many years ago and it did not work so I have been reluctant to try again but I'm so glad I did. It has improved a great deal and has reduced six shelves of duvets and pillows to just one. Brilliant!

I used these to try and store some bedding but within 24hrs they had reinflated. Lakeland then offered to send a replacement which, so far, seem to be working!

I bought these a couple of years ago, used them a few times, then put them in the back of a wardrobe because I found them quite fiddly and annoying to use. I got them out recently to store some duvets and they were just as annoying. The sliding clip keeps coming off, so it's hard to close the seal & it's quite difficult to make sure the seal is closed along its whole length (even once it's closed it can pop open which is even more annoying) I finally got it sealed and vac'd the air out but within 24 hours, the bags had inflated. Waste of time, money and space. I will never use or buy again.
