I am really chuffed with this lilac laundry basket.It looks great in my re decorated bathroom.Also it's different to the normal baskets. I'm off to get dirty so as i can use it.....
I bought this laundry basket for my two youngest boy's bedroom as I needed something that seemed indestructable and previous laundry baskets haven't stood up to being used as "Darlek" helmets, army camps and over-zealous filling and cramping down. It has really stood up well to them and is taller than it appears on the photo. It literally holds a weeks worth of washing for two without any strain and is lightweight enough that my 10 year old can carry it down the stairs without difficulty. As it is so slim I'm about to order two more for the other bedrooms in the house. Great product

I had a rectangular laundry basket and found it cumbersome to take down stairs as only have a narrow area, kept knocking sides of staircase wall. also heavy to take out when full of wet clothes. This basket is great light weight and so easy to carry when full of wet washing. Extremely well made and fantastic value
I have been looking for such a product for a VERY long time and here it is ! it fits perfectly in the small space next to the washing machine. Thank you Lakeland.
Thanks Lakeland for selling a great washing basket, I live in a small house and this basket sits quite comfortably at the top of my stairs and I use it to put my washing out on the line as well.
